Sector Lead: Laura Crawford

This is a large sector to navigate in Alberta.  Currently, we have Laura collaborating within the Health Promotion, Disease and Injury Prevention area within Health Services. 

There is a need to link with Medical Professions, Public Health and Rehab areas.

 

Current Initiatives:

• ACTIVE START (0 - 6) - Early Child Health and Development Screening, MEND 2-4 and  Preschool Growth Measurement
• FUNdamental (School Aged) - Healthy Weights Initiative, Comprehensive School Health, MEND 7-13 and School Age Growth Measurement
• ACTIVE FOR LIFE (Adult, Older Adult) - Thrive Community Wellness Initiative
