Grant Funding Programs
The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation
believes that all people should have opportunities to enjoy active
living and participating in sport events. After all, sports and
physical activity are fantastic ways to enjoy living in our
beautiful province.
We are pleased to provide a number of grants funded by
the Foundation related to sport, recreation,
parks, wildlife and active living.
Development Initiatives Program

Donation Fund
The Donation Fund Programassists
partner Provincial Sport and Recreation Associations, the Alberta
Sport Development Centres and Alberta Games in obtaining financial
support. This program is established by the Foundation to help
enlist donors to support sport and recreation development
in Alberta.
Event Support Grants

Provincial Healthy/Active Living Initiatives
Grant
Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation and the Alberta Sport,
Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) are currently
accepting proposals for the Provincial Healthy/Active Living Initiatives
Grant.
Canadian Sport for Life Grant
This grant was previously made possible through a partnership
with Sport Canada. That partnership will expire in March 2012 and
there are no further application deadlines planned at this
time.
