Grant Funding Programs

The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation believes that all people should have opportunities to enjoy active living and participating in sport events. After all, sports and physical activity are fantastic ways to enjoy living in our beautiful province.

We are pleased to provide a number of grants funded by the Foundation related to sport, recreation, parks, wildlife and active living.  

Development Initiatives Program

The Development Initiative Program has been suspended until further notice. No applications are currently being accepted. Thank you for your interest in this program.

Donation Fund

The Donation Fund Program assists partner Provincial Sport and Recreation Associations, the Alberta Sport Development Centres and Alberta Games in obtaining financial support. This program is established by the Foundation to help enlist donors to support sport and recreation development in Alberta.

Provincial Healthy/Active Living Initiatives

The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) provides funding for healthy/active living projects with an emphasis on projects that address physical activity targets for children and youth.  Applications will be available shortly.
